Since 2009 — Ismail PharmaChem
Ismail PharmaChem is our pharmaceutical-sector business, established in 2009.

The business is focused on pharmaceutical raw materials, chemicals, international sourcing and local supply in Bangladesh. Its activities are connected with the requirements of pharmaceutical companies and other business customers in the local market.

Over the years, this business has developed through practical experience in sourcing, importing and dealing with international suppliers. It remains the main business activity within our pharmaceutical sector.

Since 2009 — Basantapur ShrimpFisharies
Basantapur ShrimpFisharies is our fisheries and aquaculture business, which has been operating since 2009.

The farm is located in Basantapur, Kaliganj, Satkhira, where our activities are centred on fish, shrimp and gher farming.

Unlike our pharmaceutical business, this is a field-based agricultural and aquaculture operation. Its day-to-day activities depend on the farm environment, seasonal conditions and the practical requirements of fish and shrimp cultivation.

Since 2012 — Hossain Agro & Dairy Farm
Hossain Agro & Dairy Farm is our livestock and dairy farming business, established in 2012.

The farm is located in Fuljor, Sughat, Sherpur, Bogura. Its activities are centred on livestock and dairy farming and are managed according to the practical needs of a farm operation.

This business represents another area of our long-term involvement in agriculture, with its own working environment and day-to-day responsibilities.

Separate Businesses, Different Responsibilities
Our three business activities are different by nature and are therefore handled separately.

The pharmaceutical business deals with sourcing and supply for the Bangladesh market. The fisheries business involves fish, shrimp and gher farming. The livestock business focuses on cattle and dairy farming.

Each requires a different type of knowledge, management and daily attention. Keeping them separate allows us to look at the practical requirements of each business without mixing the responsibilities or objectives of one sector with another.

At the same time, these businesses share something in common: they have all developed through long-term involvement, practical experience and day-to-day work.
