Ismail PharmaChem is a Bangladesh-based business established in 2009, working with pharmaceutical raw materials and chemicals for the local market.

Our business is built around a simple idea: when a pharmaceutical company needs a particular material, finding the right source is often just as important as finding the product itself. We work with customers in Bangladesh to understand what they need and then explore suitable sourcing possibilities from international markets.

Over the years, our activities have developed around international sourcing, importing and local supply. We work with overseas suppliers and explore sourcing opportunities from countries such as China, India, South Korea, Singapore, the USA and other international markets, depending on the product and the specific requirement.

We understand that every requirement is not the same. A customer may need a particular specification, a certain quantity, a preferred country of origin or a specific manufacturer or supplier. In some cases, the requirement may be straightforward; in others, it may require more discussion and a closer search for a suitable source. This is why we prefer to understand the requirement properly before moving forward.

Our role is not limited to simply identifying a product. We look at the requirement as a whole and consider the information that can affect the sourcing process. Product name, specification, quantity, origin, supplier preference and other available details can all help us determine which sourcing options may be appropriate.

Our business is focused on the Bangladesh market. We source materials internationally, coordinate the necessary import arrangements and supply the required products locally. We do not manufacture medicines, and our activities are centred on sourcing and supplying pharmaceutical raw materials and chemicals rather than pharmaceutical manufacturing.
