Finding Sources Beyond the Local Market
International sourcing is an important part of our business. When a pharmaceutical raw material or chemical is required from outside Bangladesh, we look beyond the local market and explore possible sources in international markets.

The process usually starts with understanding what the customer actually needs. Product name, specification, quantity, preferred country of origin and supplier or manufacturer preference can all help us identify the right direction for the search.

Depending on the requirement, we may explore sources in China, India, South Korea, Singapore, the USA and other international markets. The most suitable source can vary from one product to another, so we do not follow the same approach for every enquiry.

Once a possible source is identified, we review the available information and communicate with the supplier where necessary. Product details, availability and other relevant information may need to be clarified before the sourcing possibility can be properly considered.

Our role is not simply to find a product somewhere in the international market. We try to understand whether the available source is relevant to the customer's actual requirement and whether it can be considered for supply to Bangladesh.

The process can be summarised simply:

Local Requirement → International Search → Source Review → Supplier Communication → Sourcing Possibility

Every requirement is different, and the sourcing approach may change accordingly. We therefore prefer to understand the requirement first and then explore the market with that requirement in mind.
